A Poem by Sanjeeta Sharma Pokharel "Hridayaninadini"
The coin flipped high…
Dazzling the curious eyes
Revolving…
Somersaulting…
And
Fell on the ground..
Twirled
With a clank…
A toe dancer!
He gazed-
If tail-
He
Had a tale!
And Head!
So,He
Moved ahead…
After all,
It’s a game!
He-
A dreamer by birth…
dreams- Aliyah!
A coin- a cachet for
Winning
And
Losing…
But
Each time, the loss
Escorted him…
Loss-
The only laurel wreath
of
the bankrupted mind…
No one lose
No one win!
Losers-
The valiant winners!
He march forth-
With a coin-
A Head!
To be the Winner-
Of the lost game!
