Under the shed of sarcasm: to this hatching egg!

I hold this egg
And I observe…
The white shell of it
Smooth and brittle!
I harked!
A cracking sound from within
Voila, the egg is hatching!

Now I wonder about-
The freedom that shall
Cost it’s freedom!

I wonder:

The world outside, that shell, is a mere blue!

And the people outside are lethal, You have no clue!

But still if it lures you, and if you wish to hatch…

I have this couple of suggestions to you!

Once your wings are out, my feathery folk!

Act smart, walk smart and eat smart…

Even if you do not know how and where that smartness lies in…

For they’re going to judge you, Of course not by your heart!

And yeah, you perch on that money, they made,

And sleep in that bloody bed!

They shall laud you for this, my tiny folk…

In the face of your utter loyalty, they shall split your head!

Dare not to cross that “road”!

And even if you do, never let them know!

For they themselves are fighting over a piece of land!

Flap your wings, dust it off and enjoy the show!

Prove them wrong, for you know, they always are!

You are not that “chicken-hearted”

It’s just that you have that heart of a chicken!

And yeah, they seldom remember what they have said!

And your future, you will never create…

In that meat-cleaver, hides your fate!

But still, when they shall carry you by your wings!

In that gory-slaughter-house, stand brave!

(Remember!

With that chunk of bread, they eat!

Their hunger will suffice by your meat!)

If bygones were the past, live to the fullest!

That future, you will never see!

Should not haunt you, for the world outside is lethal!

Trust me, inside this shell, you are free!

And that little-yellow-folk,
Pops-out of that egg!
And again, I observe,
Silently...

To the shadow!

The shadow that I see
Behind the sun,
Stares defiantly at me!
For...
I killed the one
That veiled my soul
And I stand…
Shadow free!

They have this right
To glare these eyes,
To this shadow of the sun!
I shout!
For, they define
What being the Sun
Is all about!

I remember,
In that darkness
I observed,
My shadow scaring me
And I fought…
Fought till the light in me
Conquered this fright
And my shadow died!

I paid no condolences,
And no mournful thoughts,
For they once defined me too!
With no sympathy for myself,
And the darkness, I was in!
The ashes, I threw!
To the burning light,
For, my shadow died…

I say, of no regret…
I did no wrong to me,
But, yes! to my shadow,
“Your company,
Disheartened the light in me,
With no option left,
I betrayed you and let you go!
Yes, I killed you”
I will never apologize though!

Hereby,
I refuse to say sorry!

The Weird Dreams...

I see the rainbow, before it rains...
And feel the droplets, before they fall...
I count the stars, which I can't see...
At home, I bring them all...

I pluck the fragrance, no flower can have
And feel the breeze, before it blows
I chase the fireflies in a dark
Whoa! And I align them in a row…

I ride on the clouds, that monsoon brings
And steal all the silver lines
I paint the sky –pink
At home, I bring their shine

I climb the mountain, upside down
And crawl inside the sea
The best music that nature can play,
My feet dance yon the lea…

I walk over the river, turbulent and wild
And swim through the lush canopy
I befriend all the terrifying beasts,
And bring in them, the intangible beauty…

I shout and jump, of elation, Yeah!
For I can do, now, what I thought I can’t!
To add this smile on the sunless face…
And this rhythm to unvoiced chant!

No grieves to worry about,
How happy the world seems…
I would have loved to be in,
Only if they were not the weird dreams!

Belated...

That mid-night breeze wafts
The memoirs
That she had lost…

She silently dreams about
The childhood lane
Where still hangs her laughter!

Of toys and fights, she
Cared for,
Tears meanders from her eyes…

She can behold the stars, still
That she saw then
Under the same sky…

Every sunrise brought
The beauty of being together…
The cups of bliss to sip on…

The lace of apron to hold
And run, wearing the heels…
“Catch me, mom!”

Life was different!

Alas…this dawn
She finds no one by her side…
To smile at…

Contentment, hence, belated…

Of illusions and deceits...

She ponders…
Of illusion and deceits,
She holds that tiny bud,
And smells,
She know it’s not her,
For it shall bloom one day
And perish…

She hushes…
A moon in the sky,
And she;
Moon may delude-
To possess the stars!
And the stars shall never bother
For the possession of delusion
Shall perish, someday!

She comprehends…
Nothing was her,
And nothing it will be…
It’s just a game of this nature;
She played
That she got lost
In the hope of being found
And never got noticed…

She observes…
A child;
A child detaches
Even after a long play-
She never learnt
To be the one;
For she knew to whom
She is attached
Shall bid a bye, someday!

Still she tried to cherish…
The moment that was never
Her,
And happily accepted
The part of being hurt!
And concealed the wound
That shall never heal…

She cried with no tears
When the last moment,
That she enjoyed in,
Departed from her
And she was left with nothing
But just the dead-memories…

It was just hide-and-seek,
Life played with her…
Where she hides in the shadow, now!
And never wished to be found…

On your birthday...

When the falling sun
Spreads its aura
The woods blushes
The floating mist adds the trinkets,
No rain-clouds around…
Still these eyes are drenched...

Behind,
Yon side of the bush
I hear that clunk!
Four tiny legs and the trunk…
Smells this stranger
And hides beneath her mom...

Should I say?
I miss you too…
On your birthday…

She is a dreamer now!

She hated that darkness, for that broke her heart.
That nostalgia diluted her.
She got lost in the crowds of unseen upshots.
Worn out!
For she hated that darkness!
She wished to be a firefly!
But these days, she seems to enjoy the deadly darkness where even the stars go blind, I heard, she is a dreamer now

She hates the light instead, for that breaks her dream.
That nostalgia keeps her alive!
Reality has always deceived her.
And see, she deceived it in return.
She is not amongst the swarm of fireflies, anymore.
If she acts idealistic, remember,
Stay the way you are- Improbable!
For she is a dreamer now

Strangled fate can be changed, I heard, she has brought out the life that filthy fate might have engulfed.
She conquers that pain, for which people bellowed she shall break!
Vulnerable, she was never.
It was just a situation that went vulnerable.
For she is a dreamer now

For she has defeated the fear!
Why are you still trying to scare her!
Her emotions were fragile.
And see, she won’t share it with you, any more.
And they shall bury down in her bones…
Even her bones shall not crack!
Why shall her emotions?
You are thinking a lot, for you thought she’ll kneel before you, why shall her heels touch that grubby ground when she seems to enjoy the deadly darkness!

She always wanted to write a happy story.
She never blamed you, for she knew that it was ‘this’ rain, that washed off the word- happy!
She is alive in her dream, please don’t wake her up!

I bow for the rainbows...

The cambered curves of two
I behold the rainbows, too
As Wordsworth did!

With this floating faint smell
Of drenched mud…
And the droplet that slides...
The melody of falling pearls...
I behold the rainbows, too
And the blushing sun…

I wonder not,
About these clouds and rain,
But...

This canvas, I behold
With no brushes of any kind,
God paints, beautiful...

A dream that won't come true!

A child stretches her hand
Out of the window pane,
Touches,
The stumbling droplets
After the shower
And asks
“Daddy, why it rains?”

He has no answer,
This time…
For his bereaved heart,
Could not feel that rain,
Anymore!
Only if they meanders,
From his eyes!

He hides his tears,
And smiles
And caresses his child,
He points to
The blue firmament,
And replies
“The stars must have
Lost their toys, my child
And hence they cry,
And it rains!”

She wonders…
Her little fingers still wet…
Soon falls asleep
And dreams about her mom…
(And the wind brought
That drizzle again…)
