Rests,
Her diary, on a table.
And,
she heaved a sigh.
“No poetry, for today”
Though she did see
the uppity words again.
And witnessed a baby,
sleeping on a stone-bed!
For her eyes cried with
no tears on them.
Her tears were
Her tears were
Lost in the vain…
For her silence went
Unnoticed to some!
For them, she tried not to explain.
For she saw the bareness
In colossal crowds of craniums!
Holding her heart,
She escaped out again
She tried not to stand-
Under a shed,
For her tears, too
Got dribbled in the rain!
She admired the blankness
The gush of air rushed in
flipped, the pages…
Scrolled down the pen!
