Ache

Strange, it is.

The ache within.

If it could speak.

The volumes, it would be.

Learn, I must.

From these throbs.

Amidst the sharp pain,

Cajoled my lips into the smile.

The wordless meaning.

In the crowd of none,
I quit my companions.
Confusion.
And hope.

Silently yelling thoughts-
pierced the deafening noise!
Travelling to nowhere.
And reached me to bid farewell.

Incomplete sentences followed me,
Secretly through the broken paragraph.
To leave me with-
The wordless meaning!

Forsaken...

Packed the bag,
She had the journey-
to embrace.

The long empty roads,
A few toppled leaves.
Her shadow- the only voyeur.
She had this journey-
to embrace.

She left some behind-
For she knew the burden
Was heavy.
Never she knew,
Leaving some could be bulkier.

The road, now, seems void.
So does the road ahead.
And the bygones- forsaken!
